About the Journal
The Revista de Derecho Público, is an electronic biannually publication, established in 2007 and financed by the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de los Andes. Its objective is to spread and socialize with the national and international academic community new articles that provide a significant contribution in Social Sciences and the disciplines of Public Law, either in Spanish, English, or Portuguese. These articles are the result of a scientific investigation, reflection or revision. This publication addresses mainly lawyers, jurists, academics and students of any area of the Social Sciences. Currently Colciencias indexes it as B Category.
The Journal has an Editorial Team, leaded by its Editor/Director, and an Editorial Council that is responsible of judging about the matters that guide its path, keeping the quality both of content as edition.
Being a publication peer reviewed, the evaluation procedure that the Journal applies is double-blind —anonymity of both the author as the evaluator—. Consequently, the Editorial Team sends the preselected articles to anonymous evaluators, who, with scientific criteria, decide about the pertinence of the publication, without knowing the name(s) of the author(s).
The Journal helps the authors with the costs of the editorial process, which guarantees the idiomatic and editorial quality of the articles. Likewise, it provides immediate and open access to the complete text of the whole content of each issue.
